　　东尼·班克斯，上世纪七八十年代极富盛名的英国老牌乐队创世纪的词曲作者、键盘手，在该乐队中有“诗人”的美誉。《海边之家》出自该乐队1983年的专辑《妈妈》，是一首长达20分钟的交响诗风格的作品，后被选入乐队精选集《瞧我们走路的样子》。从时间和风格来看，这首歌正处在乐队转型的半中间，因此歌词既有神秘前卫、幽暗隐晦的一面，又大气磅礴、饱含人生哲理。
